International House is a student centre for global learning at UBC and home to many services and opportunities for both domestic and international students. Everyone is welcome. So, drop in and get involved!
At the International House you can:
- Talk to International Student Advisors about visas, employment, health insurance, as well as cultural and personal issues
- Enroll to study internationally at one of UBC’s 150 partner universities
- Find out how you can become a volunteer in another part of the world
Learn another language from native speakers- Join yoga, Qigong, Kendo, salsa or meditation classes
- Meet people and volunteer for multicultural events and celebrations
- Attend a seminar on international issues, politics and social justice
