UBC Tax Assistance Clinic for Students (TACS) is a non-profit student organization dedicated to educating and assisting more than 1400 low-income individuals, mostly students, in preparing their Canadian tax returns. We are planning to expand our club even further by exposing more knowledge about tax other than individual tax returns.

Job Description for Positions Available:

VP External
- Report to President
- Recruitment and oversight of Sponsorship Coordinator
- Research potential sponsors for the year
- Develop new/ update existing sponsorship package according to the   research
- Liaise and maintain positive relationship with sponsors and delegates
- Attend executive meetings (TBD)
- Supervise volunteers during clinic season
VP Internal
- Report to President
- Recruit, organize, and liaise with Clinic Supervisors
- Draft executive contact list
- Maintain general TACS email account relations with potential TACS clients
- Book rooms and take meeting minutes
- Schedule and manage supervisor shifts for tax clinic
- Attend executive meetings (TBD)
- Supervise volunteers during clinic season

Promotions Coordinator (two positions)
- Report to President
- Responsible for promotion of the tax clinic
- Design and update the promotion plan
- Design and print promotional materials
- Responsible for client feedback process
- Attend executive meetings (TBD)
- Supervise volunteers during clinic season

Volunteer Coordinators (two positions)
- Report to President
- Responsible for recruitment, organization, and support of volunteers
- Main communication link between volunteers and executive team
- Plan and organize Volunteer Training Day
- Plan and organize U-File Mock Sessions
- Plan and organize Volunteer Appreciation Party and other volunteer social events
- Responsible for volunteer feedback process
- Attend executive meetings (TBD)
- Supervise volunteers during clinic season

Social Coordinator
- Report to President
- Responsible for logistics of food and beverages on Training Day
- Plan and organize Executive Appreciation Dinner
- Plan and organize Volunteer Appreciation Party
- Plan and organize other possible social events
- Plan and organize Volunteer Appreciation Party and other volunteer social events
- Attend executive meetings (TBD)
- Supervise volunteers during clinic season
